Meet Ellen's Family . . .

Ellen’s husband, Jim, is Director of International Publishing for Tyndale House Publishers in Carol Stream, IL.  Chad (second from right), their oldest son, teaches at Vienna Christian School in Vienna, Austria.  Their middle son, Nate, who is married to Brit, works for Ravi Zacharias International Ministries, and they live in Atlanta, Georgia.  Jordan, their youngest son, is a student at Taylor University in Upland, IN., majoring in International Business. 

Biography

Ellen Banks Elwell graduated from Moody Bible Institute and the American Conservatory of Music.  She has lived in Wheaton, IL with her husband, Jim, since they married in 1974.  They have three grown sons and one daughter-in-law: Chad, Nate & Brit, and Jordan.  Ellen enjoys reading the Bible, taking long walks, teaching a few piano students, and going on beach vacations with her family.  She has written about twenty books – some for women and some for pianists.  A few of Ellen’s books have been translated into Chinese, Dutch, Afrikaans, and German.
